Winter rewards
The winter rain has its own refrain
a geranium plant still blooms
frost on the car
under wraps
Promises to keep
like warm soup
cuddly robes & blankets
wrap my body
in comfort.
A couple of weeks ago Ruth's old hamster died and I have thought about whether to have another one - well today I went to the pet shop and met this little chap and he is a bit of a character I think so home he came with me!
He will be either Plato, Homer or Socrates.
I liked this bit of hedge down the track today -
